The Lunch Box is a newly opened staff cafeteria in a one of North Somerset Council’s buildings. There are around 2000 people in the building everyday so demand to have affordable breakfasts and lunches was significant.
< BRIEF >
The aim of the design was to come up with a friendly branding to represent this new service. These included logo, colour scheme, menus, product labels. This is an on-going project and we work closely with the council and constantly develop their cafeteria's brand.
< WE DID >
We came up with a simple and creative logo with a custom designed font, which was then used throughout the brand elements for main headings.
Along with paper menus we have created electronic one for a quick check on ‘what’s they serve today’ through the intranet.
We have also created an icon system to represent types of meals served as well as colour coded sandwich labels according to fillings, for example green for vegetarian.
The overall look and feel is colourful and friendly and works well with this type of service in this kind of an environment.
